What is outdoor patio furniture?

Outdoor patio furniture is designed to withstand weather while creating a comfortable environment outside. It is usually water resistant and has proper drainage to decrease risks of damage or mold when wet.

What materials are commonly used in outdoor patio furniture?

The most common materials found in outdoor furniture is wicker, wrought iron, and aluminum.

How do I choose the right outdoor patio furniture?

The right patio furniture will fill your outdoor space without being overcrowded and limit the ability to move around the area. Colors should be based off any permanent features in the area such as hardscapes or house paint.

How long will it take for my patio furniture to arrive?

In general, shipping takes 1-3 weeks, depending on the size of the order and the distance of travel. Orders containing Sunbrella fabrics take an additional 3-6 weeks, depending on the time of year and the size of the order. Our peak season runs from March - September every year.  You can check the status of your order at any time by going to My Account and clicking on your order. Contact us if you have questions regarding your order.

What if there was a problem with my order?

We strive to make sure every order is accurate and undamaged before it leaves our warehouse, but mistakes still happen. We're here to help when things don't go as planned. Contact us immediately if you have any issues with your order. If your order is damaged - Take photos if possible. We may be able to ship replacement parts to you.  You can send the photos to our email address customerservice@tortugaoutdoor.com If your order is incorrect - Refuse the shipment if possible. Leave the product in the original packaging and contact us as soon as possible so that we can expedite your replacement order.

Product Specific/Maintenance

How do I protect my furniture?

Our furniture is made for the outdoors. With that said, you can increase the life of your furniture by protecting it from extreme weather conditions. Our cushions are water-resistant, not waterproof.  If the cushions get wet, remove the slips from the inner material and place in a dry area. Long bouts of rain, direct intense sunlight, and saltwater can wear down the materials over time. It's best to place your furniture under a cover/roof. You can also use a protective furniture cover to extend the life of your furniture.

How do I clean and maintain my wicker patio furniture?

Wicker can be wiped down with a wet rag to clean up any spills or dust that may collect on the furniture. We recommend that harsh chemicals are not used with wicker to protect the outer coating.

Is teak wood a good choice for outdoor furniture?

Teak is a great choice for furniture indoors and out. Teak gets stronger as it ages and when properly taken care of it will create a beautiful silver look or if oils are used it will maintain a vibrant color.

Do you offer cushions and accessories for your furniture sets?

Yes, we offer many cushions and accessories that will help you create the perfect outdoor seating area. Most of our cushions have Sunbrella fabrics as an option and can be customized to fit your space.

Can I customize the color and style of my furniture?

Our products that offer Sunbrella fabrics can be customized to most of their fabric’s styles and colors. For customized orders you will have to contact our customer support team and they can walk you through the process.

Can I request samples or swatches of fabric and materials before making a decision?

We do not offer samples for our fabrics, but you may request samples from Sunbrella directly which we use to create our cushions.

What should I do if my furniture gets damaged or needs repaired?

For any damaged furniture, our customer support team is available to find replacement parts when possible.

Ordering and Delivery FAQ's 

How can I place an order?

We take orders online or over the phone. We recommend that you try to order online first if possible, but our customer service team is always happy to help with any questions or issues that may arise.

What is the typical delivery time for patio furniture orders?

After an order is place, it may take up to 5 business days for the order to be processed. After shipped, it will depend on where you are located on how long it takes to arrive.

Our warehouse is located in Canton, GA

Can I come to your warehouse to see the furniture or pick up an order?

While we do not have a showroom, we do welcome visitors. Just send us an email with your request and we'll make sure someone is here to greet you at the door. We're a small company, so it's not a good idea to drive all the way to our warehouse without scheduling an appointment first.

Can I return my furniture for a full refund?

Yes, you can return your furniture with no questions asked, but you must pay for the return shipping. We reserve the right to give partial refunds for incomplete returns.

Do you offer a warranty on your patio furniture?

We offer limited warranties on all our products. Any warranty claims should be done through our customer service line and a form can be filled out on our Contact page.

Where can I find replacement parts for my furniture? 

You can order replacement cushions, slipcovers, and suspension frames from our website.  Send us a note or give us call if you looking for something else.

What should I do if my furniture arrives damaged or with missing parts?

If your furniture arrives damaged, you simply need to start a claim on our Contact page and a customer support team member will reach out with the next steps in fixing the issue.
